Something Amazing!

There's something amazing about a good white wine. Ranging from crisp, with light, airy flavours, to rich and full-bodied, white wines are the perfect choice for a hot summer's day or fine dining.

Sauvignon Blanc....The story so far.....

The flavours of Sauvignon Blanc are different to most whites. You get a very "green" flavour, with plenty of herbs in the subtle notes. A less-ripe (cooler climate) Sauvignon Blanc will have strong flavours of limes and green apples, while a Sauvignon Blanc made from riper grapes (warmer climates) will have stronger flavours of peaches and passionfruit. But beneath those primary tastes, you'll get hints of gooseberries, grass, jalapenos, and bell peppers.

Argentinian Wines

Matias Riccitelli

Matias Riccitelli Tasting notes - Torrontes is Argentina's signature white grape, this crisp and refreshing torrontes is a classic example. The nose has fresh and inviting aromas of roses and citrus. On the palate its complex and refreshing.

Nearly three-quarters of Argentinian wine production takes place in Mendoza, and in addition to Malbec, there are significant plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Bonarda. Mendoza's position in the rain shadow of the Andes means that there is little rainfall, and irrigation is supplied by Andean meltwater.

El Camino Torrontes Sauvignon Blanc

Exotic floral and citrus aromas combined in a fabulously perfumed wine of steely acidity

El Camino - the King's Highway - threads mythically through the foothills of the majestic Andes among vineyards famed the world over for the purity of their growing conditions. It is a combination of these superb vineyard sites, the dedication and expertise of the local viticulturists and winemakers and a touch of European know-how  - the Andes in a glass!

Finca Las Moras Reserva Chardonnay

From the oldest producing region in Argentina this is an intensely fruity wine with apples and ripe pineapple aromas. It has a trace of honey, butter and vanilla on the palate along with bright stone fruits and balanced acidity.

Trivento Reserve Chardonnay

Trivento takes its name from three winds: Polar, Zonda and Sudestada. The God of the Winds, Eolo, capriciously summons the winds that make Mendoza such a distinctive winegrowing region.
A brilliant gold tinged with green whose expressive mix of apple and banana aromas are touched off with pleasant vanilla notes from the 3 months aged in French oak. Silky yet fresh sensations of Trivento Reserve Chardonnay make way for a delicate finish.
